Fantastic opportunity for a CPA Qualified Management Accountant to join a large Government Department. 3 months, could extend. Candidates must be residing in Adelaide.
Duties will include:
- Financial management of overheads and related labour costing, including improvement and execution of updated overhead models
- Providing assistance with the development of the business units’ financial plans with the focus on labour and contract labour
- Provide assistance with all aspects of Labour and FTE management with Managers including provision of information for Business cases and structural changes
- Undertake detailed and accurate labour and contract labour analysis for key stakeholders
- Detailed annual accrual/cash overhead budgets and relevant groups, compiled and loaded according to Financial Plan
- Provide monthly financial and non-financial key performance reports including overhead true up to Key stakeholders (including GM, SM and Managers)
- Deliver various state budget and detailed budget build up in accordance with business plans, and execution of the relevant budget/business plans with the focus of labour reporting and capitalisaion/ utilisation
- Drive financial performance to deliver Opex and Capex success
- Develop strong working relationships with Managers and Senior Managers across the broader business
- Provide relevant and timely commercial advice and deliver agreed outcomes or put strategies in place
- Develop models that deliver customer requirements and provide greater transparency of Business groups operations with respect to Labour and contract labour
- Strong business partnering experience
- Degree qualified in accounting or business or equivalent experience
- CA or CPA qualified
- Significant capital accounting experience
