In this opportunity you will work as a Senior Engineer for a 12-month Max-term (fixed-term contract) with generous remuneration on offer. As a Senior Engineer, you will be integral to perform a range of system integration, migration and data-related tasks and will contribute to the development, implementation, and deployment of robust software solutions. The role is hybrid WFH with 3 days per week in the office (Sydney CBD). 

About you:

• Established experience in Java Spring Boot development.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, Concurrent programming, JVM optimization is an added advantage.
• Experience working in complex banking or financial services systems environments is a must
• Proficiency in consuming and producing integration endpoints (Web Services, APIs, message queues).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is a plus.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end application behavior from the frontend to database, authentication, and access control.
• Practical experience with SQL and RDBMS systems (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, and test-driven development methodologies.
• A deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes is beneficial.
